The computer-based test is approximately 2 hours long and results are typically available in just 48 hours.
Test-takers can expect unbiased testing and highly accurate marking powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
The highest score is 90 and most reputed universities and immigration agencies require an average score in the range of about 50–70.
Test Structure
PTE Academic test is divided into 3 sections.

There are 20 types of questions that candidates need to prepare themselves for.
The test is taken in a safe, friendly test center where you will complete the test on a computer in around 2 hours.

Equivalency to IELTS
PTE Academic is scored against the Global Scale of English that aligns with a variety of well-known tests around the world, including the IELTS.
PTE Academic score ranges between 10 – 90 and aligns with IELTS score as follows:
